Opifex was engaged to perform a full review of the various geotechnical elements such as retantion grout blocks, existing soil nail walls and foundation systems that combine to form the new retaining system for the proposed shopping centre redevelopment. Opifex conducted the assessment of the back anchored piled retaining wall, the overall global stability analysis, as well as the redesign of geotechnical elements that were deemed unsuitable in the context of the greater system.
