Our portfolio includes piled-raft foundations for high-rise developments, where we’ve optimised load sharing between piles and raft slabs to reduce pile lengths and construction costs. We’ve designed pile-supported rafts for multi-storey buildings with complex load paths, ensuring minimal differential settlement even under heavy column loads. For sites with deep competent strata, we engineer large-diameter bored piles to safely transfer loads through challenging ground profiles, including interbedded sands and limestone.

Opifex designs are carried out in accordance with the governing Australian Standards, and where guidance is limited, we supplement our design with Eurocode 7 methodologies to ensure robust, safe and transparent design outcomes.
